Why can’t I get rid of the cockroaches in my car?

Let’s face it, cockroaches are scary. They can carry diseases and trigger allergies and asthma. To make things worse, they seem to keep coming back, no matter how hard you try to eliminate them. This is true in your car as well. Unbeknownst to most people, your car is a prime breeding ground for cockroaches. Why? Because its warm, a source of food (people eat in your car right?), and offers good hiding places.
One of the main reasons cockroaches keep coming back is the way they produce their eggs. Female cockroaches make a hard egg case, called an ootheca. Cockroach oothecae are capsule-shaped. Most of them are less than 1 cm long. They are usually dark brown in color, but some can be tan or black. These cases can contain up to 40 nymphs.
Many types of roaches drop the ootheca in a humid area and leave it. Some roaches glue the ootheca to a hard surface so it can’t be removed until the eggs inside it hatch. Some cockroaches, like the German roaches, keep the ootheca attached to their bodies until the eggs inside are ready to hatch. If the female German roach is in danger, she will often drop the ootheca, even if it is not quite ready to hatch. Some of these oothecae hatch after the female roach is killed. Since they stay in dark cracks and crevices, there are often many more roaches that people do not see.
Car Owners who have been fighting cockroaches should be on the lookout for egg cases. They can be found in areas where cockroaches would hide. It is very important to recognize the oothecae and to remove them. This will be a big step in preventing a re-infestation.

Your car is treated with an SGH certified Antiviral spray to kill bacteria and viruses such as Salmonella, H1N5, and HFM. The entire interior of your car is covered. Next, your seats are also deep cleaned with a leather cleaner.
Step 3 – Anti Mold/Odour Smell Ozonic Treatment
The last stage your care is treated with an ozonic generator, that fills your car with ozone, a proven anti-mold odour remover. This is done with your air conditioning running to get into the whole system. This treatment lasts about 30 minutes. Afterwards the air in your car is noticeably fresher.
