What is in your tap water?

In general, Singapore water quality is relatively soft; we have an average TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) readings around 100-120. Total dissolved solids (TDS) comprise inorganic salts (principally calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, bicarbonates, chlorides, and sulfates) and some small amounts of organic matter that are dissolved in water.

These are the minerals which caused the water marking and water streaking on your vehicle when not dried properly; effectively your car is dowsed with water which react negatively with your car paint. The water marks and streaks are evidence of the sodium, magnesium and chloride.

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis is a technology that is used to remove a large majority of contaminants from water by pushing the water under pressure through a semi-permeable membrane.
